Weekly Review #195

Last week, weight was popping all over the place (down, down, down then up, up) ... this week, it was quite consistent, sticking in the same spot for several days. At least that spot was a little loss, and for official weigh-in ... down a pound.

NUMBERS: Down 1.0 pound exactly for the official weigh-in, only down .3 for the average (176.44). Average Intake was 2250, Burn was 2894 ... small deficit for the week (-1720).  Step average was 22,385 with 94.05 logged exercise miles. Cardio minutes 930/869/908, just 30min with weights this week. Three days over 3000  (burn), just one 30k day.

Not quite as busy with basketball ... just three games (one with #3, two with #5). That impacts driving time too, although "mommy chauffeur" duty was up a bit this week. 

As for EXERCISE ... I got in my hour of elliptical six days this week. Three Zumba classes. I hit the treadmill six days, and the bike three times. Only managed a weight workout once. It was a pretty good one though, I was sore for several days after (which is why there's only the one ... I couldn't imagine squatting again so soon!)

With the warmer weather (although it did snow on Friday) mowing the lawn will likely be a weekly activity too. 

Weekdays are best for me ... with the structure of school schedules and routine. Weekends are a struggle, it just feels so much harder to workout on weekends, and so much easier to eat!

Here's a quick week recap ...
  • Monday (0424): Between a sick kid and feeling down myself, it wasn't the most motivated of Mondays. I skipped Zumba. Still got in my hour of elliptical, hour walk, and a session on the bike. Macaroni Rosa for dinner, chocolate chip cookies for dessert. 24630 steps. 3012 burn. 1900 intake. 
  • Tuesday (0425): Good day ... hour of elliptical in early. My usual Zumba was cancelled due to a funeral at the church, but I went to a different class and enjoyed it (HeatherB). Treadmill, bike and weights to finish out the day. Running around (well, driving, chauffeur duty) in the afternoon picking up kids from school, getting kids to haircuts, park play, etc. Hubs and #3 did a derby. Jazz playoff game too. 26233 steps. 3109 burn. 1900 intake. 
  • Wednesday (0426): Hour of elliptical in early, Zumba with MZL and a stop off for shopping on the way home. An hour walk and a session on the bike. Driving kids around in the early evening, and picked up Dominos for dinner. Hubs and #1 did a derby. #3 had a game. #2 has been working a LOT this week. 31941 Steps. 3324 burn. 2500 intake.
  • Thursday (0427): Feeling a bit sluggish today ... as almost always, still got in my hour of elliptical early. Zumba with MountainView, then a session on the bike. Rainy day, but #4 still wanted to go play (outside at the park). #5 had practice. #2 had his girlfriend over to see the goslings. I made homemade oreos, and finished baking up the rest of the chocolate chip cookie dough. 22078 steps. 2948 burn. 2600 intake. 
  • Friday (0428): Got in my hour of elliptical, although not quite as early with late start (starts me off late). No Zumba, but did an hour walk and a session on the bike. Cold, snowy day! Everyone was around in the afternoon. In the evening, another Jazz game.  22267 steps. 2764 burn. 2700 intake.
  • Saturday (0429): Two of the boys (#1 and #4) were up and off early for a chilly 5k. I did two miles on the treadmill while they were running. Some yardwork (lawn mow and weeding, attempted trimming of a tree) then a couple basketball games with #5 (one loss, one win). Fun evening at home with the kids and their friends and more homemade oreos.  15272 stwps, 2540 burn, 1950 intake. 
  • Sunday (0430): End of April! I got in three 20min sessions on the elliptical throughout the day. Small breakfast, Hubs grilled burgers and dogs for dinner. I made cookies and ice cream and the final game in the first round of the playoffs was a win for the Jazz. 14334 steps. 2564 burn. 2200 intake.
